HOW IT WORKS

From the floor to a better balance.

01

Observe the process

Document real production work through a structured time study with process times, images, and notes.

02

Build the current state

Convert observations into editable process data, a Process-at-a-Glance, and a Yamazumi chart.

03

Define constraints

Define what must happen first and what work can occur in parallel.

04

Recommend the future state

Compare staffing scenarios and identify the optimal line balance for your operation.

WHY LINEFLOW

Stop stitching the analysis together by hand.

Traditional line balancing often means manually moving from a stopwatch to paper notes, an Excel spreadsheet, standard-work document creation, and analysis.

LineFlow is designed to connect those steps into one continuous engineering workflow.

BEFORE 5+ disconnected steps

Stopwatch → paper notes → Excel → standard work → analysis

WITH LINEFLOW One connected workflow

Record the process → define constraints → optimize the line

MEET THE FOUNDER

Built by a manufacturing engineer, for manufacturing teams.

I’m Brett Davis, an industrial engineer and manufacturing engineer focused on continuous improvement, process optimization, standard work, and line balancing. I created LineFlow after repeatedly seeing how much engineering time was consumed turning good observations into usable analysis.

My consulting approach combines hands-on engineering support with LineFlow’s purpose-built workflow, helping teams move from time-study footage to clear, defensible improvement recommendations.
